Jeff's love of music is shared by those of us who grew up playing music in the Delaware music scene back in the 60s and early 70s. A few actually escaped gravity, but most of us finished college and went on to normal careers. But I wouldn't trade those times for anything. (I still play my 355!) Jeff's bands were very influential. I remember the Knaves playing at Tatnall, and if my memory serves me correctly, through Altec VOTs blasting away. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Blake Ring playing some tasty leads at the Grimslade. And when I moved to Franklin Mass ten years ago, I ran right into Martha Lidd and Sin City. Jim Russell was my neighbor! (I must say that AI duPont produced some fine drummers:-) Billy/Jimmy Ficca, Bob Deputy, Mark Dailey and Jim Russell. Billy went up t o CBGBs in NYC and was at the heart of emerging Punk Rock with Tom Verlaine and Patti Smith.) I could go on and on…
Jeff, thanks for sharing your music! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Jeff,
I'll never forget you and Peter coming in to play for us in DuPont before I checked Out. Over the years music has been a sanctuary and source of endless joy and healing. That's what allowed you to become part of my life. Lloyd thank You so much for sending me the article and booklet, along the way the "Box" got lost so i ordered another one online. God Bless You Both during this trying time. Always remember. "A Box of Rain Will Ease the Pain and LOVE Will See You Through"..... I love You Both. I am eternally Grateful!!!!!! Stephen C.

When Matha Lidd was on the schedule nothing else mattered. Your whole week went to hell just planning the night of music and the after party.
Thanks, W

We had a great time trying to figure it all out in those early years. Those are times I'll never forget! This is a set of music that anyone who considers themselves part of Delaware's music scene must have. Great music, great times! Love to all!

Between you and the guys from the Enfields, there was a lot of talent in the neighborhood. Wonderful to have this on the internet.

Hi Jeff:
Being from New Jersey and Central Pennsylvania we had not heard of you or your musical past until we read the article about you in todays Sunday News Journal. In facing the hardships that have come your way give's me strength to do the same. I am several years older than you and my musical background goes back to the late 50's. We can't wait to hear the box set, which we ordered today and can only wish you the best and we will pray for you. In advance, we thank you for sharing your life and music with us.
Sincerely

Jeff, I don't remember if we ever met, but I'm your cousin Carl Wilson's daughter from, NJ.
Al sent me your music link and I listened to some of it, and I like it, so I ordered "The Box" or The Briggs Project.
My prayers are with you, I'll be thinking of you next month.
